RAID
Presentation
The Networks, Administration, IT and Computing Department (RAID) is responsible for managing and administering the Laboratory's information system. It is made up of four people, network system administrators and application developers.
Operation
Operation of the IT infrastructure:
- Network (jointly with the IT department of the UL's IT Resource Centre),
- Administration of servers and all IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers),
- Development and monitoring of the LRGP intranet,
- Help with programming.
Management
Management of the laboratory's computing resources:
- Hardware (installation and maintenance; calculation cluster - 38 processors/servers dedicated to calculations),
- Software (installation, maintenance, licence management, etc.).
Development
Development and maintenance of scientific software.
- Valorisation of codes developed by research teams.
